My approach to treating my patients is different from conventional methods. Wherever I can I use herbal medications to treat various health problems.

Owners of pets who suffer from chronic conditions that do not respond to conventional medicine, and those who do not agree with conventional medicine, are amongst those who seek the help of a veterinary herbalist. More and more responsible pet owners are looking for alternative treatment options to help their pet to overcome health problems in a natural, less aggressive way.

Herbs can be used alongside conventional medicines, as well as being very successfully used on their own. A single herb or a combination of herbs can treat many conditions commonly seen in general practice. Diseases that can be treated with herbs include chronic pain, lameness, arthritis, allergies, epilepsy, heart disease, skin problems and conditions where conventional diagnosis can not be made.

My goal is to improve your animal's wellbeing and life by stimulating healing and restoring balance within the body. My preference is to use herbal medicine wherever possible but I will recommend whatever is in the best interests of your pet, including conventional treatments or referral.
