Profile
Hello, my name is Nicki Froescheis. I graduated in veterinary medicine at the University of Munich in 2001. Ever since I have worked in small animal practice in the UK. My main interests from the beginning have been small animal medicine and diagnostic imaging.
Over the years I started to look for alternative and complementary medicines. I have participated in acupuncture courses. At the beginning of 2008 I started to work with herbal medicine and have since joined ongoing professional development courses run by leading specialists in human and veterinary medicine. This has proved to be so successful that is has taken over most of my veterinary work.
Since 2009 I have been a member of the British Association of Veterinary Herbalists and I was awarded the certificate in Veterinary Herbal Medicine in March 2010 after successfully completing exams and case reports.
I also have an interest in canine behaviour. I am a strong supporter of the "Amichien Bonding" canine communication method developed by Jan Fennell (the dog listener). Trained and certified by Jan Fennell, I have integrated her methods in my work.
